Fractional CMO engagements require access to business-critical information: revenue numbers, customer data, competitive intelligence, pricing strategy, executive communications. All access is governed by a signed NDA by default and appropriate data-processing agreements.
Information learned during the engagement is never shared with other clients, published without written permission, or used to inform QuantForge's other commercial activities. This is the foundational trust requirement of the service.
We do not take fractional CMO engagements for direct competitors in the same category and geography at the same time. Before accepting an engagement, we disclose any potential conflicts for client review.
If a conflict arises mid-engagement (e.g., client pivots into a category where we already operate), we disclose and offer the client the right to terminate with prorated refund and documented handoff.
Every engagement is documented so that a future full-time CMO hire can pick up the work without loss. Playbooks, decisions, vendor relationships, OKRs, and performance dashboards are maintained throughout the engagement and handed over at close.
We never hold client access, data, or credentials hostage at engagement close. Handoff runbooks are delivered as part of the engagement close-out regardless of whether the relationship ends amicably.
